Sam Krats is a Bristol based producer and is a name to listen out for. His first release, featuring Chattabox and Grem!i Da Muke, 'Tomahawks', was released as a limited edition 7" earlier this year and was his introduction to the scene. This is where things took off in a big way.

Since then, he's seen his career explode, with forthcoming collaborations with some major figures in the hip hop game including Sadat X, (Brand Nubian) Akil the Mc (Jurassic 5), Andre the Giant (Showbiz & AG) and Jeru The Damaja.

This latest track, featuring Nabo Rawk of Porn Theatre Ushers, famed for their classic track Me & Him, is the first release from the highly anticipated forthcoming album due for release early 2013. 'Step Back' is reminiscent of classic 90's boom bap hip hop and is a taster of whats to come. This track marks the start of a resurgence of what people who love the golden era of hip hop have been waiting for.
